Our farm stand is all cozy in its forever home.
It has been a busy season so far for our chic little stand. Bursting with Farm Fresh Pots of Greens cut fresh almost daily from our farm. You can find an array of greens in each pot from spruce, cedarwood, pine, dog wood, juniper and more.
For year + years, I mean at the very least 15+ years. My extended family would get together and create “Pots of greens”. We would go out cut them and then 15+ of us would come together and create. There was always a kettle on for tea , Christmas music 🎶 playing and typically chilli was hot on the stove. The “Pots of Greens” were then donated to our church for their Christmas bazaar.
Once my grandma past we did it in her honour calling them “Marilyn’s pots of greens”. Flash forward the pandemic stopped this tradition while we all stayed home.
This year when my husband and I got our land. I investigated the tree situation and knew The Grove Acres had the perfect palate for this tradition to carry on in a new way 🌲. With a new look and updated vibe.
Fun Fact! Did you know all our birch is collected from fall limbs and trees. This helps to clean up the forest floor but also means there is no needless cutting in the ecosystem.
